Marriage is not the union of two perfect people—it is two imperfect people choosing covenant, growth, and grace. From the Book of Genesis 2–3, we see that even Adam and Eve were created good yet capable of failure. Perfection was never the requirement—dependence on God was.In this episode, we challenge unrealistic expectations and cultural fantasies about marriage. Instead of chasing flawless “specifications,” we are called to embrace growth, teachability, and peace. More importantly, marriage is revealed as a spiritual partnership. As Joshua declared in the Book of Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Choosing a spouse is, in many ways, choosing the direction of your spiritual life.This message highlights marriage as a partnership in the Lord—marked by unity, humility, forgiveness, self-control, and Christ-centered love.
