Louis Collins was adrift in life till he found a golden orb that allowed him to talk to a distant, forgotten god. Gathering followers to hear the god’s simple message of kindness and self-sufficiency, Louis starts a commune and meets Bethany, an eager follower that claims to hear god too. After Louis and Bethany are married and have kids of their own, Bethany claims to have secret knowledge the god passes to only her and leaves to form an off-shoot faith based around their supposedly-holy son.
