As I delight in You – Morning Prayer in Ordinary Time

It’s Thursday of Ordinary Time, Proper 15 in the Church Calendar. August 24, 2023. Praying today for those facing financial difficulty. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing a song I wrote called “Unending Hope of Glory” and we’ll include a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 131 and 132 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 24:1-23 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day.
