As Proposed Solar and Battery Storage Facility Eyes Sullivan County, Forestburgh Residents Push Back

A utility-scale solar farm and battery storage facility could be coming to Sullivan County. Solar developer RWE has proposed a 1,200 acre solar farm that span across the Towns of Thompson and Forestburgh that is drawing pushback from local residents.Now, Sullivan County is eagerly waiting for the developer RWE to submit their application to New York’s renewable energy office for consideration.
