As the Man's Mind Plans, It is the Lord That Establishes His Steps Which Are Already Done Through Christ | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

This is Day One Hundred and Four of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. In today’s episode, we spent time talking deeply about the dreams, the visions, and the things that God has trusted us to do. Sometimes people get into a place of frustration because they forget the One who actually gave them the dreams and the visions in the first place. Whether you are building an organization, working in medicine, innovating in technology, or pursuing sports, we must not forget the One who gave us these things.We looked at the profound truth of Proverbs 16:9—that a man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs and establishes his steps. We explored the difference between what the mind says and what the heart says. Often, people are told to "listen to your heart," but they are not told to "listen to your mind." In Hebrews, the heart is always rated entirely differently from the mind. There is your physical mind, and there is who God created you to be in your recreated spirit.God has trusted us with these visions because they are already finished and established in Christ. When the Bible tells us to pray, "Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven," it shows us that it matters for us to actively participate in the will of God. The heavens have already been established. God gives us the wisdom and understanding to create and build these things here on earth, simply to reveal His glory and His Kingdom to the people.After looking at these truths, we entered into a depth of prayer. We prayed and believed that just as God gave visions to Nehemiah and established them, just as He gave the builders wisdom in Exodus 31, and just as He guided Noah to build the ark, He is establishing us. As it was in Acts 1:8 when the Holy Spirit came upon them, that same Spirit now lives in us.
