Drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Thompson went on to play for the New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, and Cincinnati Bengals. Thompson married his college sweetheart Charlotte Paguyo in July 2016 and welcomed a daughter, Madeline in August 2017.
