"Ascension, Part 2" answers some of the questions raised in "Part 1" about how Apocalypse's pyramid spaceships work, but the answers don't make that much sense, and the whole episode feels like a countdown to the ending when Rogue swoops in to save the entire planet. The Brotherhood also show up, allowing Toad to have a few more jokes before the credits roll. It's not how we wanted this show to end, but it was fun while it lasted.
