Ascribing Worth | Discovery Course | December 4, 2024

This message explores the heart of worship, revealing it as the most repeated command in Scripture—surpassing even "Do not fear." True worship is about ascribing to God the glory that is already His, an act of giving credit where it is due. It contrasts this with fear, which stems from self-preservation and often competes with worship. Highlighting the greatest injustice—the withholding of praise from the One most deserving—it challenges believers to move beyond merely talking *about* God to directly ascribing their attention, affection, and devotion *to* Him. With a call to engage with God’s real presence, this message invites a return to the roots of worship and prayer, reflecting on its meaning, purpose, and the obstacles that hinder it.
