ASHER COWAN  is the co-founder and CEO of Dr. Cowan's Garden, DrTomCowan.com and The New Biology  Clinic. Dr. Cowan's Garden is a health food company that uses beyond organic ingredients, processed  correctly to make the best quality health food products available. DrTomCowan.com is dedicated to  promoting the work of his father, Dr. Tom Cowan, and the truth about medicine and biology and what  really makes people sick. The New Biology Clinic is a virtual health clinic that uses a new understanding  of biology and medicine put forth by Dr. Cowan to understand the root causes of disease and works with  members to develop holistic strategies for returning to optimal health.   Asher grew up playing sports, and went on to play basketball at Clark University, where he studied  economics. After receiving his MBA, he went to work in the corporate world as a consultant and  financial analyst. Unsatisfied with corporate life, he co-founded Dr. Cowan's Garden combining his love  of food with a lifelong interest in entrepreneurship. They launched with a line of vegetable powders and have expanded into other product categories.   He lives with his wife and three children in a small town in North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with  his family and in his garden.
