Muffins are an essential morning staple for many people. They come in a variety of flavors, they're super easy to make, and they're fun to eat. English muffins have been whipped up in kitchens as far back as a thousand years ago in Wales, and American style muffins have been around since the 18th century. Today there are lots of variations like: cruffin which are  flaky croissant-muffin hybrid, while  duffins are a dense, cake-like donut-muffin ...and of course there are the muffin tops.
