Ashley Losing the person we love most

Today i had the pleasure of speaking with Ashley about her father and what it was like for her to grow up with the fear of losing him. Ashley’s father Eric Lynn Cummings was (and still is) her most favorite person in her life. You can tell that he inspired her and she has drawn strength, love and so much of life’s mysteries from her fathers being. When Ashley was just a young girl she discovered the idea of death and the thought of losing her father made her write up a contract for him to sign that he would not die. I can only imagine how a pure and innocent gesture like this from ones child would rock any parents soul to the core. But since this early day of childhood, Ashley has had to go though the heartbreaking experience of losing her father and she has come out the other side as a grown woman with a new understanding on life’s contracts and how there are honored… through the beauty and mysteries of life… for her father is still with her in spirit and soul.
