Asian carp threaten native fish in Wisconsin rivers

Asian carp pose a serious threat to the native fish, like trout and walleye, that populate Wisconsin rivers and lakes. Sport fishing enthusiasts and natural resource experts fear that the invasive species could cause serious damage to the state’s ecosystem and tourism economy. Kristina Pechacek is a fisheries biologist with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
