Well the life of you Tom medium Which consists of a lot of scratching yourself Use a peyote I'm just kidding no, we've had Kaden on the show before and Kaden is awesome So we're gonna talk a little bit about Some questions for mediums.
I know we did that several years ago back when we first started the show and it was a train wreck And I'm really kind of hoping that tonight that episode is less it's just gonna be a big truck record I mean both swag and semi back then we don't know the hell we were doing that's true is like episode four. I think it's something like that But before we get going let's let's pick care a little bit of business first and then we'll get into its business It's business time. Yeah, we had yeah, there are yeah, we had a thing out at Benson Grissomile Yeah, he came out he was wearing it out there too. So it's thanks for representing Shane everywhere you go. We're doing a presentation Haunted Paranormal 101 basically they have an epic theater there will be setting up and people can sit around and listen to our lecture about Ghost stuff. I'm actually kind of excited about this. These are kind of one of my favorite events We did one last year at Fort Douglas in the Fort Douglas small theater and unbeknownst to us the small theater is significantly smaller than we thought The small theater was we had that thing jam-packed But really what it is and this is that's kind of cool like if you're too scared go ghost hunting We've kind of divided the tickets into two tiers of tickets You can either come and just come just for the lecture or you can come for the lecture and the investigation Which is $10 more for the investigation Then just the lecture so the lecture what that is is we will talk about ghosts You'll hear us talk about a lot of the things on the show, but we're also gonna present evidence We're gonna show you photos of ghosts. We're gonna play audio clips about ghosts We're gonna show you some ghost video And then we'll do a question and answer so if you always want to come ask us questions about ghost stuff But I think we talk about that's the place to do it.
We'll try to we'll try to keep the question answer and all that kind of short We don't want to go too long on that because basically once it starts to get dark We're just gonna split up another groups and start doing the investigation again This this event is happening on Friday February the 27th Prices are $25 for just the presentation $35 for the presentation and the investigation it's worth staying for the extra 10 bucks Yeah, you know last time we did it everybody bought the deluxe pass which included the investigation But again if you just want to come just for the lecture That's the possibility and so we will be doing wristbands so that we'll know who is who so if you think you can buy this $1 dollar ticket and just come to the investigation I will cut you know just kidding Castle's violence No, I've been really if you actually do buy just the lecture ticket and halfway through lecture You know what I want to say for the investigation you can upgrade your ticket on the on scene So it's not a big deal if you change your mind We'll just we will charge you the extra mountain get you going and if you want to buy a dozen rods We'll have them there. Yes, we will so also other events also coming up. We have Benson Grist mill reserved on Friday October 25th and 26 I believe are the dates yes, sir The 25th as of right now the plan is is we're gonna have caden here do a gallery reading and then we'll do an investigation afterwards and then the Friday will be another presentation and Investigations well so it'll be similar to what we're doing this month We'll try to change up the presentation just so like if people want come to both of those They're not sent to the same thing twice. I think what we'll do is a presentation for October I'm thinking either demonology or cursed objects.
How do you guys feel about that? That works? So we'll do a different presentation so it'll be that way you're not that way you're not like if you want to come to both of That's you're not saying to the same thing however. I have reached out to a celebrity I'm so waiting here back from him if he's available I forgot to text you back.
I am available. Okay Well, the celebrity will be Mike. Yes, I'm gonna celebrity that's been wanting to come back to Utah We've reached out to him to see if he's available that weekend So waiting here back so as of right now the plan is gallery reading with caden and presentation investigation The next night with us if he is able to come out Thing will change and we'll let you know as soon as possible But it will be a fun and exciting event if he if he makes it out here now I'm curious I don't even know who this is which that's actually the one reason why I haven't posted the other two events yet Cuz I wasn't sure we're doing a celebrity thing and I didn't want to get posted until we knew exactly I think by the time that this airs we should know for sure Yeah, we should have information by tomorrow now real quick cuz I'm sure we've got some listeners who are wondering what the Corapic gallery reading is Caden do you want to run at that tell us exactly what people can expect? We're gonna say start with like the kind of the difference kind of regular reading and the gallery reading Yeah, because that was one of the questions that was that was asked we were talking about before the show So when you come in for a gallery reading session versus a private reading session Both of them are gonna be roughly about the same amount of time if we have a big group Then we'll do you know a couple of hours on a gallery reading session private reading You're gonna get one-on-one information direct contact with relatives You're gonna get all of the information that they have for you right then any kind of direction any kind of other Spirits that may want may want to contact will all have the opportunity to do that in a gallery reading session We're gonna more than likely get contact from one person if you get contacted We've done gallery reading sessions before where you know, we don't really have control over who reaches out and who's the you know more Intense more powerful spirits, and so we kind of have to go in the direction that they set up Gallery reading session I may only be talking to Mike, but the information is gonna correlate for everybody in the room So you'll come in you will still get information that may not be direct on a gallery where is in a private session It would be direct information.
Okay, and they're really fun. I've been involved with them and they're they're kind of neat So that's the plan. I believe that September 27th is the paranormal 101 lecture with the ghost investigation October 25th will be the cadent gallery reading followed by investigation and the 26th is going to be possibly celebrity if not it will be a demonology or cursed object lecture and Again investigation so I love it when you squeak Alright, so let's talk recent investigations Just to also throw this out there. It may or may not happen next year, but we are currently looking into Venys right now.
We might be putting together a paranormal expo for next year And if you want to do it because contact him at Tim at wisps.org He is accepting donations to get that going and we'll probably sit up a patreon to take those donations to you If you give me the evil eye because he's been asking me something for a while And I said well no, I think it's kind of good that we've waited on the patreon because I mean now that we've announced that we are looking Into venues and whatnot. I've already started looking at working with caden for the last couple weeks I've been working with another number of our team Scott and venues trying to find the one that we feel is the appropriate menu to have this event But once we get the patreon up and going we can because one of the problems we've been having is just saying what perks to give the patreon Contributors and now that we're actually putting this into motion that we're trying to put together the expo We can also throw in like if you donate so much a month you get free admission or something like that We're own private expo in your own backyard right Yeah, okay By the way, by the way, I was talking about recent investigation so we recently had investigation of that's in griss. No I was there Mike was there caden was there and it was actually kind of an interesting night Tim apparently had to work and then he was all broken anyway, so yeah It was awesome times where my gout decided to kick in and which is not because you're the dude who said the thing Well, it's not the first time it's happened where I've had to work or something has happened or something's come up I've been having been able to go to my own event, but yeah, unfortunately I felt it was more appropriate to sit home in bed Nursing my gout as opposed to being out wandering around and like crying like a little baby the entire time I say you didn't miss anything nothing has anything Tim sent me a message going because I'm a dope for me and pay for the venue I got this totally ignored it to you That's not true because I paid for the venue. This is true.
Hey, you ignored you didn't respond. So this is true. So This was supposed to be our paranormal potluck, which was awesome by the way. How did that go?
I went really good. I brought pulled pork. We had that was good pulled pork chicken. We had there's a little I think Scott's right like you should have a new segment on the show where you make up a word for the week, right?
I think the highlight of mine out there was Nate Alder Brought some rice crispy treats, but instead of using marshmallow. He used like the homemade caramel stuff It was so gooey, but I think I Have a good rice gooey treats until you've had the ones that aren't actually rice crispy You make it the same way, but you just crushed up Oreos. So Tim is gonna bring So I say I actually didn't get any of those and that makes me sad But I had lots of pork because I made the pork and it was delightful That makes me sad you didn't get any it was so good. It was so worth it.
I didn't even know it was there So the investigation was just kind of an interesting night. It was Benson gristmills usually pretty tame Quiet and Kate came up with me and as we pulled up Kate and goes out there's not a lot going on here tonight I'm thinking Alcraft. Oh, well at least it's a paranormal potluck. It's not a ticket event.
So if it's totally sucky We all had a good meal and nobody can bitchin complain about it Well, we had we had quite a good turnout. I was surprised at how many people actually came out for that We did have a good turnout now. Let's talk about stuff that happens So I spent quite a bit of time in the one cabin with a grumpy do I think his name's Andrew. Good stuff No, Justin Blaks my shop.
Yeah, Andrew is you talking the center cabin? Mm-hmm. Andrew stuff goes in there, too I'll talk about that. Yeah, yeah, so we were in there talking with him and he was being it and run grumpy, right?
And then part way through the night eyes investigating with one of our best years and Gillette and she figured out there's actually a portal There inside the cabin. It's called the four-side cabin for the right who are familiar with the gris mill I am not even like a vestigial. I see Anyway, Brandy was there so we had Brandy come and she was able to close I think we either help close it I wasn't there to help close it. So I say it was me Brandy.
Mike were you there? I was not there for that part I was probably over stuffing my face Just a good wager. Oh, it was mark mark was there Mel meter mark was there with us anyway, we got that closed up and then I ended up going out to the schoolhouse Near the end of the night and it was kind of fascinating because the schoolhouse is usually really tame. There's a spirit out there She goes by Laney.
She's a spirit who I can never remember her name. Yeah, she she's a school teacher out there There's a couple students, but this time I went out there and it was really dark There's kind of a foul smell it smelled very much like a stable that hadn't been mucked out in a very long time It just had kind of a stink and just a really dark dark feeling and was we're in there And again, Angela's that was investigating with me She was over in the other side of the room and some touched her She jumped out of her skin came running across the other side of the room and as she sat down I could start to see shadows like kind of I don't know nine inches off the ground almost like cats but not cats kind of moving around on the floor Which was really interesting Another part of the night and you may I think you might have been there for this mike So you talk about if you were but we had some other investigators I believe it was Amber Chatterton and her sister Jamie We're in the barn we there for that I wasn't in there, but they came running right out going dude I saw running and heard I don't want to say actually They kind of screen with I don't know if it was a joyous or it was more shocked. Yeah, it was more horrified But it was definitely a we're expecting that when you're a paranormal investigator when all that stuff that's supposed to be scary happens We don't really get all that scared. It's more of a excited.
Holy cow. Did you see that do it again? Yeah, well, apparently they were in the barn and they asked for something to move and there's like a Laundrakter in there like a there's a four-way Anyway, apparently it moved like forward like this They said yeah, I rolled it rolled about a foot and a half. Yeah, and they were just like whoa Wow, I heard that didn't hear that.
Yeah, that's a pretty big object to move. Yeah, and I struggled to get spirits to move a ping pong ball Come on move the feather And what meanwhile the cheddar to search over there Don't move anything for we are Around the barn. I guess we tentacle Amber's chatterton Jamie's Clark. Yeah, I was just thinking that I said that so sorry Jamie Anyway, so it's a pretty active night now.
What was it? You have happened? Oh, so we had lots of stuff So when you were doing the whole portal thing, that's not really equity I mean anyway, and when we were doing the when you were doing that portal closing thing over there in the one cabin I was actually over in the schoolhouse. I spent my whole night To kind of two shifts into the schoolhouse and then just one into the big mill Didn't really get into any of their buildings there But when I first got over to the schoolhouse that sure enough lady was there the students were there We found out more information about the students there and a little bit more information about her We found out that the schoolhouse was not originally a schoolhouse all it was actually a different kind of a building But a boy scout troop had had converted it into a schoolhouse for the Christmas kind of as a and that that was actually her her desk when she was a Teacher and is what I was what I've been told She was a Paiute Indian and she was from the the Paiute reservation down west of St.
George her favorite student So there's a desk that's in the back of the schoolhouse there that is kind of known don't sit in that desk It really makes her mad because it's her favorite student's desk his name is Henry. He's 10. He's also a Paiute There is a boy a 12 year old boy sitting in front of him named Mason Matthews And he was pretty cool and then there was there's usually an eight-year-old girl named Angela That is their Hispanic girl that she wasn't there. She was off it over in one of the cabins with one of her friends So it's kind of funny experience.
They're just like regular living people they have their daily activities and their social hours and Just like the normal kid. I don't know she thought home. She's over with her friends at us But what was interesting is so a mark came over and Brandy was over there with the two peaches was there and she was had her dad out there We were talking to Laney and mark says I'm getting this in my head. He was leaning I'm gonna say your name if I butcher it I apologize But let me know if I'm right and he says it and I still can't say it but he said it and with the dowsy roaches I get that's it You know close enough at least anyway and that was really cool because I didn't know that mark was Into it or anything.
I just thought he was just a magic engineer No, mark is actually pretty in tune with stuff. He was figuring out all kinds of stuff when he's with us in the Forsyth cabin Mark was picking up on quite a bit of stuff as far as names and things of that nature fact He's one of the ones that kind of picked up on that portal that was underneath the cabin Now what was interesting too is when we were in the schoolhouse and like I said things got kind of dark It wasn't too long later. I tell you remember the guest was but Kate and came out I guess one of our guests had been in the mail and something kind of happened to him while we were In there got kind of attacked, which is not very unusual. That's a gristmill very unusual But they were able to kind of deal with that and so I kind of wonder if that anything to the schoolhouse because we were in there kind of Poking the bear a little bit.
Yeah, it could have I don't know it was it was an interesting night Like I don't usually get pulled to the barn like I did and uh happened to be sitting there with Shane And so we're just both were like well, let's go check it out We'll go see what happens and as soon as we walk through the door It was just like you could just get hit by it in the face by bricks I mean it was just heavy which it never is in there at least never when I'm in there and uh here in footsteps I mean I you know I communicate all the time but to get audible stuff like that to get visual things like that Doesn't usually happen so for that to happen was cool And then just to have Shane before he even could even get into the building he had hands on him pushing him back out There's somebody else actually know that they say that there were they uh were trying to go Upstairs in the mill and uh basically kind of had the same thing where they felt like they couldn't perceive any further upstairs Yeah, well Shane and Kagan had that too like when you guys came up It was just like heavy trying to touch through mud. Yeah, I heard coming from the other side of the middle We were already up there and we were talking to a type two named uh rich. He was He was a prick. He was bad and it was really heavy up there anyway and Yeah, well and when you get rich up there with Kyle I mean that's that's a pretty that's pretty heavy combination between the two of them And I mean just walking up it was just like you walked into a wall I mean the first the first level was fine Which you know usually is fine second level I've never had a problem on and it was like walking into a brick wall It was just like the energy is completely changed as soon as you hit the top of the stairs and We were just kind of like nowhere.
Just like you know it It may be something to do with going on upstairs. We were already being pulled that way And so go to walk up that last flight of stairs and it was just like all of a sudden you had some meant feet You just could not make it up those stairs. They got really heavy and really dark up there and uh And after only a few minutes up there, you know, Kagan's like, you know, let's just close this up We're done. Let's just leave it alone because sometimes it's better just to leave them alone It was an interesting very different night events in Gris Mill than what we've been used to But it was actually it was a really fun investigation It's one of the reasons I do it back that venue so many times is because it's such a big venue And there's so many spirits there that you have a different experience almost every single time to go Uh, and it's You can kind of go wherever you want to investigate and what I mean by that is this last time I literally spent the whole investigation between the Forsyth cabin and the schoolhouse and something like it's I just said the schoolhouse in the mill.
Yeah, see and we spent most of our time just hanging out in the big mill Which I mean I like to go out and check out all the cabins, but it was just so active in there all night You know, it's funny because I know I wasn't able to go on this one, but Lately when I go to the mill I hang out in the amphitheater Like it's a place that most people really don't go to investigate, but like every time I'm down there I'm always talking to some spirit that you normally don't find anywhere else on the in the video, right? But yeah, I like just chillin the amphitheater. So I don't know Do you guys get a chance to go down there at all or you know I went down there for a minute? But I didn't really spend a whole lot of time down there.
Yeah, not not for long just a few minutes So Well, we'll definitely be hitting it next time because we'll be doing We did try setting up the equipment for the 10101 setting up the speakers and stuff just to make sure everything You know what we want to work but yeah once we started investigating I was out of there as office will ask Um, so anybody have anything else with the investigation? I talked about one thing that was actually really interesting is over at uh As when we exited the big mill Terry and calene and I were the last ones out I was actually the last one out and we heard a creaking door and they thought that I was pulling the door behind me But I didn't touch the door. I'm like did you hear that? I'm like, yeah, I heard it I don't know what it was but we're thinking it might have been the door up on the second floor That was the something moving.
I mean there was no wind no no stagnant which again, which a vacuum rarely half horrible It was a pretty calm and muggy night, but something moved the door up there. I would imagine it was the uh the negative negative entities that kind of Ran us out so to speak. Well, then thank you for saying that we enjoyed your investigation Babe like it says not the first time. I mean, I've set up.
I don't know how many investigations that you're reek at and I've still never been there All right, I hopefully I'll be able to transfer to my I hope you can make it to the expo that you set up for next year By then I'll be on my new shift. All right, so let's move on to our topic for tonight. We actually had um, residential Did you have one tomorrow? Okay, so we'll be talking about the next episode And actually there will be two next time because I've got one set up that we'll talk about after the show before the next show Um, so we were actually gonna have a haunt survivor come in tonight and tell us about their haunting But I'm not gonna lie it is 1230 at night When normal people sleep and so it's kind of tough to get guests this time of night And we've been once talked came for a while and so came graciously stepped into filling tonight Instead of doing it when we had planned a few weeks down the road the haunt survivor will be coming in by the way But tonight we were gonna ask medium questions.
Uh, like I said, we did this what four years ago And it was two years ago two years ago. Yeah, and it was a complete utter train wreck No, no, I'm talking about that's the medium. Yeah, that one that one is okay. I was right That was four years ago.
That was like like I said, what were first episodes. It's entitled thorazine. It was god awful Yeah, it was me. It was me the piece of paper going Tell me apparently one point like I asked a question and then I asked the same question like right after Clearly all of us were paying attention to her too.
So the best thing is if you're new to the show Uh, I wouldn't go back more than a year or two because that first year was a little rough The second year was not as bad, but then we started kind of Where there was some episodes that I wasn't on at the beginning because I wasn't actually host then you know that half a guy I say but let me give you guys for those who are new to the show Let me give you guys just a quick little recap of how it was like sokaden How's the medium? Do you see that people and? Does that make you feel and We had a list of questions that were just like going around the room and asking her and it was just oh my god It made me want to cry who was the medium brandy brandy gotcha So we're gonna do the same thing this time. We're gonna do with kaden and this time It's hopefully not gonna suck and if it sucks, it's my fault because I'm the one that has all the questions right You have a few of them.
All right, so let's get started. That's just what's in front of me like I have a head There's not there's a question there. I hope it's just a walking head So I did I'm a member of several paranormal Facebook groups and I did today's and had a message that said hey I'm interviewing a medium tonight. What questions would you ask and so I got several different questions from all over the world Several in England some all over the u.s.
Anyway So kaden I'm gonna ask you some of these questions and Some of these and I'll even tell you who they are the names of people asked him So a lot of them are my own questions as well because knowing I have lots of questions There's a lot that I don't understand And that's exactly what this is about First off first off first question is kaden. What is your favorite cheese? In the middle and how does it make you feel? This was Dave Ward's question.
Yeah, that was Dave. This is a set the tone. This is what's funny. This is the same.
This isn't your interview This is our interview. I know I know I'm saying I just want to point out So this is a great question and this is from the same guy who suggested that my nickname should be pancakes So I'm not surprised he wants to know. Kaden. What is your favorite cheese?
I think Dave likes food Actually, how've already? Wow, okay? I was gonna make an answer that question. Oh, I'm gonna make an answer Yeah, I'll answer it all questions are fair game I retract that because they're no I don't have any more challenging questions like a super natural hour Throw Dave a bone Dave's one of our team members and he's a lot of fun.
So I just wanted to throw Dave a All right, so the first question I had is do you ever turn it off and these are like not any kind of order But do you ever turn it off and if so what do you do to do so? How do you do that? He turns me off? I Do look no, I really don't turn it off.
I might scale back a little bit might kind of quiet things down And mostly it's just simply saying look I'm done talking tonight. Can I jump in there and ask kind of part of another piece? Yeah, can you turn it off? Yes, okay.
I can turn it off. I did I did shut it down for about a year and a half And that was a mistake. I shouldn't have done that Well, and I know that recently peaches and I did some work with you and we we helped you shut it off for a little bit Yeah, I think I was I think for that that point in time it was kind of for your own good because you're just kind of You're all over the place. You just moved to Georgia and you were just in a bad spot So it's kind of it helped you get back to being your normal self.
Yeah All right, so what do you do to turn it off though? So you can't turn it off, but how do you um honestly? It's gonna sound like the most simple thing on the in the world But if I want to shut off I'll just close my eyes and envision a light switch on a wall and turn it off And that will shut everything down Okay, and that's something anybody can do right? Yep.
Yep, and then to turn it back on You know just do the same thing in reverse. I'll see that switch and flip it back on So there's a lot of talk people they say like I'm a psychic medium or I'm an intuitive medium or I do this Or I do that what specifically are your gifts that you have and like how would you define? Because I know you obviously you're have your podcast. It's just come out called the life of the Utah medium Right, um, you call yourself at one point you were the Utah County medium So you refer to yourself as a medium So explain to someone that might be listening to our show for the first time exactly what is a medium and Like I said, there's people that say they're a psychic medium or an intuitive medium Exactly.
How would you define what your specific gifts are? So Actually in my podcast a couple episodes back. I addressed that very thing. So, um, I know that people listen to our show Right So let's find it No, his show is actually a really great show.
You can find it. I listen to it on Spotify Um, and I actually enjoy this episode. It's great. I can listen to it on the way to and from work and it's actually a really entertaining show So I do uh money through Friday shows about every it's about 30 minutes long You know the last one I think was 23 minutes or something, but um, but yeah, so the Let's go with the first thing is the difference between a psychic and a medium because there is a difference people don't really generally understand that Um, and so a psychic is somebody who spends their time giving you information from their specific spirit guide on anything past present future And that is all they do they do not contact any family friends anything like that They just give you all of the information that you need career relationships, whatever Where a medium Can give you that information, but it's going to come from family friends All of the you know who spirit guides or what have you so you can't tell me who's gonna win the Super Bowl?
No Hey, I was actually a question. It's right. No, actually you cannot do anything that is going to be self beneficial I've got kind of a follow-up question with that if yeah, so Two part question. So if you see another medium can you tell that person is a medium or as gifted?
Yes, now my next question is and one of the interesting things Um, and in some cases it's factual sometimes. I don't think it's factual. Uh, I've known a lot of investigators who all said magically out of the blue Uh one day they're like medium and And there's some who legitimately are I know that can be built in all fairness like I've never come straight on said I'm a medium because technically I'm not Um, I do remember the first time I met cadent family tree. He just kind of looks at me like wow like you've got some gifts So I think you know what I'm talking about Tim.
I think you know I've talked about mine Yeah, or someone comes on three investigations the next thing, you know their medium so I'm gonna kind of answer my own question I asked cadent about like so he talked about what a psychic is Um from my understanding an actual what a medium is and I like to put it kind of like scientific or mathematical terms Uh medium is usually like if you have an average or something Uh medium middle, uh, it's the same with like large medium small medium is always in the middle So basically like a medium is gonna be someone that's in the middle of two realms that it connects like the living with the dead Now when he talks about like spirit guides technically spirit guides are dead, but they're not like your normal Dead people like your everyday just like you or I if we were to pass away and not cross over Spirit guides usually someone started crossover But basically medium is gonna be some of the connects two different planes into one So back to my question now, and I think everybody that's table's running to that person who's just I call said I'm a medium, you know, and so in your Travels cadent how many of those people who suddenly declare themselves mediums are completely full of shit Quite a few quite a few okay. There are a few that uh, you know, you'll see that they just one day We we refer to it as the awakening where one day lights are on and that's that's just how it is from then on And so there's not really any rhyme or reason. There's no well, and I've seen that with like Tim I've seen that to an extent with some people. I said, I've just I've seen a lot of just magically they are and you're right you weren't yesterday right Yeah, and they're I don't know it's I don't want to call people out as frauds, but if you come up to me and you're like I'm seeing this dead person I'm gonna make you describe them because likely I'm seeing them too I know that your peaches have seen them so right Question to that.
Um, that actually had that question on here is if you can tell the person speaking Or has gifts just by looking at them. Um, can you tell what gifts they have? Um, yes and no, so it depends on it depends on the person how develop they are Um, whether they want to share that information or not You know, some people that don't really want their gifts known I can know that they have them but not necessarily what they have what they are Okay, so I'm just gonna come out right now. I'm a medium I think you're a kid.
Try it for a bro. For comfortably. Yeah, I'm not that's gonna be done. Yeah Um, okay, what advice would you give to someone who may have abilities but is afraid of them?
They're they're noticing things But it's freaking them out. Well, it's it's really up to you on what you want to do on your comfort level Uh, if you have the ability and you want to develop you want to learn more about it reach out to somebody Do not the biggest mistake I ever made was taking it on myself for five years That it's it's a nightmare because there's a lot more that if you could have somebody to sit down with and explain why it is that you're seeing certain things It helps develop so much quicker. You know, and essentially I'm gonna jump in here because I've watched you and brandy both develop over the years and It seems like when each of you has found somebody to kind of help guide and develop certain parts of your gifts You guys have both each kind of grown exponentially so to speak. Oh, yeah You know working with other mediums.
So I have first hand seen that With guidance sitting with him. I've seen unless you're me like when I you know ask for guidance and help It's just you'll you'll learn it when you're supposed to He's kind of the I've noticed I'm not to like to my own horn here, but I thought you were done with those jokes Sorry The rest of trombone Don't look it up It's I've just I've ever since I've started to open up and we used to work with um Very eccentric medium. I do not remember his name, but he used to be part of the team for a little bit David David Yes, uh even he told me like there's something different about my energy that just is like it repels some spirits And it seems to be more like the negative spirits kind of like Look at me and kind of like stand back where the more human spirits are kind of like I mean, of course I've had human spirits that are fighting me too because there's some Tall but it seems to be like the the more negative entities like the ones we call type three They're just kind of like it seems like they're still trying to film me out if that makes sense Like that's kind of the impression I get this like they're not sure about me But it's like they have a hard time reading me just like I have a hard time reading them It's it's weird. I don't know how to quite explain it but like I've seen I've seen Lucy for example No things about you things about you was in castle here or things about Mike things about kaden But when it comes to me it just seems like there's some sort of like block so to speak That's because your energy is a little bit different than normal A lot of it different than normal.
So I'm still in the process of trying to figure out what exactly makes me different from like Only other gifted person. Tim's an alien. It's the red hair. He is Apparently I have some sort of purpose I'm supposed to fulfill but um we're not here talking about me Talk about kaden and uh I know that frustration I wait, you know Just wait It'll come when you when you need to the first time I met kaden Was that actually one of his gallery readings and he pulled out this thing of oracle cards It says here draw a card and I was only pursuing it and it says you're on the right path like what does that mean?
He goes I don't know that's a deal I'm like what the crap So I had like for the next month. I'm like what the crap what does that mean? Who knows? I still know what it means.
So just keep going. That's what it means So like what would you consider yourself a specific type of medium like an intuitive medium or just like do you put a title in front of me? Or just I'm a medium. No, I just call it.
I'm a medium Because I know we've we've interviewed people before that like I do intuitive readings, but I also do like like medium ship readings Um, is there honestly intuitive meeting intuitive readings versus a medium ship reading is the exact same thing with a whole different word. Okay A medium is a medium and a psychic is a psychic. It's you can put whatever word There's a couple of there's a couple of things that are different a couple of words that can make it a difference such as a transitional medium Um, if you're a transitional medium you don't necessarily do the family contact and more so spend your time slowly helping them transition and figure out the next step I just want people to be aware of like what they're getting into if they're looking into having like a reading done for the first time and Know what to look for in a person. So they're not like basically paying 60 bucks to someone and then feeling like we got screwed over Yeah, yeah, and see and and I have a hard time with you know, I get asked of people how you know How do I feel about other mediums or whatever and everybody has their gifts?
Everybody has stuff that they're really great at so for me to look at somebody and say You know this person sucks at their readings You know, how would you know unless you sit down with them? You know, you don't you don't really know what you're getting into I can tell you that if you walk into a room with somebody and then and it just doesn't feel right Trust your gut every single time The trusting your gut thing is something that I would tell anybody on anything Um trust your gut even if you don't have any kind of gifts Your gut is what you call it? A lot or your gut or whatever it is Whatever. Yeah, if your gut says no bueno, I listen to you're exactly right walk away.
All right. What else you got for Mike? Okay, we got a lot so um How did your so when you were a kid you went into football? When did you realize you actually had these gifts?
Um several times so as a I don't remember much of my childhood, but I have been told stories Alcoholics would do that too. They do a lot of things But uh as a kid about three years old Um, I told my mom that my grandma had passed away hours before anybody knew And so that kind of made things really hush hush We you know it's still up until I even at 13 when I really opened back up You know from from about I think my earliest memory was about five Um just seeing my great grandfather in the living room with us And then from five to 13, I didn't do anything. I shut it off. It was not to be talked about we don't we don't do anything like that And then from 13 to 18 at 13 my grandpa passed away my mom's dad passed away And about two weeks later.
I saw him sitting on the living room couch And it took me a while to register what was happening that was not I felt insane. I thought I was completely crazy And I spent five years with that not saying anything because I didn't want to be admitted because that's crazy and um and then at 18 uh witnessed my first demon and Then I said something because that's if you see a demon you're not dealing with that on your own Right and you shouldn't what did you see when you saw that? Um So we talk about type three's all the time and you see kyle as a human you see the even the type three that was in The barn a lot of times you see him as a human shape um this one was not he was A combination of several different animals. I don't know how to I still did this day.
I can't I've never seen anything like it since Um probably won't be me I'll strike that I will fight you he maybe He was something new to me Was part of it like a gorilla Yeah part of it was like monkey shape part of it was like uh elephant like huge elephant body It was it was creepy And I actually ended up having to deal with that one on my own because nobody wanted to hear it So what what did your parents say when you first told them? I mean you just told you you mentioned your mom told your mom that your grandma has passed away Yep, but like how did they react to you when you So I said guess what I see dead people when I saw that one in the house She was at work And it was nothing for us to go in a couple times a week and just go in and hang out and say hi and whatever We were good friends with the bosses and so we walked in and I couldn't really figure out how to put it into words and so I just shut the door Which we didn't do and so immediately she goes what's wrong? I'm like, I don't know how to tell you this. I don't know what words to use So I'm just gonna tell you I'm a medium ic ghost and you've got one in your house And she kind of sat there shocked for a minute didn't really say anything for a few minutes And then she was like, well, you better get it out of my house Don't you put it in those ghosts?
So you're just gonna come in so she's kind of accepted it and so it's just kind of a I don't really know what to tell you so good luck And we left it at that for a couple of months It was just like go deal with it. I don't want to hear about it And then a couple months down the road she was like by the way Did you ever deal with that? And I was like, yeah that day. I'm not gonna leave that thing in the house all the time And and and so we kind of got talking we were with family And my uncle, you know, you get one of two responses either you get the people that are like, no way What can you what do you see around me?
What do you pick up or you get the people that are like, yeah, whatever Like you don't see anything shut up And my uncle was on the other side of that my uncle was the one that was like, yeah, right? No, you don't and I looked at him and I said, oh really? So what you're telling me is your best friend michael over here isn't really standing here, right? And that got his attention.
He was like, you wouldn't know about him And he's like only three people know how he actually died There's a lot of question around it, but three people know the actual events And he's like if you can tell me that I'll believe you and so I laid it out for him And he was like, yeah, I'm not talking about this and he walked away Yes, some people are kind of weird when they're faced with something like that and their beliefs kind of get rocked They just ignore it. I mean, yeah, they can't deny it, but they're like, you know, I don't know That's why that's why certain people I know they're like before I say anything Are you sure you want to know right because it's it's it's true like like she says, you know, once you know you can't know it Unknow it like past life. It's a thing. It is a thing.
Hey, Mike. You should try sometime. No, no is a thing Mike's on his first time. I still just can't wrap my head around So that's gonna be first life.
You're just a you just a I'm not gonna let you bully me into whatever. I don't care I'm not born. I don't care science So do you talk about it now? It's like people you come in contact with like co-workers or yeah, do you ever get shunned by people or made fun of like Shut them up, believe or shunned And I've got to the point where I just don't care if you don't if you don't believe in it you will eventually I So can you describe to us what you like what do you see like how do you communicate because I know the first time I met you You're doing a reading and you were just right you're telling me that like you'd see things in like a film strip Right, but it seems like things are a little bit different now.
We're enhanced now. Yeah, it's more than so we've gone from we've stepped up So now we've gone from 1960s in the film strips to now we're you know 1992 thousands where it's now a projector screen tell people up What the difference it was kind of what you put that in so back then even you know just a year ago It was still really hazy so a lot of the information that I was getting I had to get verified I had to I had to make sure what I was saying before I said anything because back then it was like okay Well, that was a weird picture and I don't know you know was it was it really tall or was it just look that way Where now it's you know if I'm seeing somebody that's six foot tall they're six foot tall And if you know and if that doesn't sit with you well, then maybe it's for you know, maybe it's for somebody else So before if I understand that's right so before so you would see the spirit right right and then to convey information to you They're showing you these images and then you kind of have to decipher right what you're telling me kind of like a yes Right, so it's kind of like charades. Yeah, exactly So it was like it was like I was watching a movie and having to understand about halfway through the movie what happened at the beginning And and it takes it took some time to kind of figure out what the references were Because not so much anymore, but back then a lot of it was symbolic so a lot of it I wasn't getting straight information. I was getting hey look at this picture of a hat and tell me what that means Right and having to put that puzzle together So when you see this are you seeing this with you like your physical eyes or is it like a metal picture or no?
So it's all mental, which is why I felt insane because a lot of it wasn't a lot of it's not visual If I see anything visual or hear audio, I get super excited because that doesn't happen all the time So you don't hear them all the time. No, okay. Nope everything that I'm hearing It's like remember like a memory. That's the best way I can think of describe it is it's just like watching back a memory I can still hear my trip to Disneyland at 12 years old and remember all the sounds and everything but you don't actually hear it But you do it's it's there you can tell you can describe it exactly how it's going down Okay, so I know you had told me that you could you had actually heard my spare guy's name is mary And you told me that you had heard her her accent and then it was yeah kind of thick I wonder how thick James's accent is our other spirit over the doorway behind you If you've ever heard his he's been kind of poking around a little bit, but he hasn't he hasn't really said anything Yeah, I told him to make I told all the spirits in our house You can come over to us and make faces out and make him laugh And I just keep getting walked past like they're very curious well James has a job Like James is kind of the protector of the house and he also kind of patrols the neighborhood and I don't know looking for thugs keeps at the barrier around the house slow to speak Yeah, he's kind of protector We've been pretty fortunate.
We haven't had too many negative things happen in our house and uh, and so he does a good job But anyway, do you ever see things that frighten you anymore? Um, not very often. I mean, you know, he sees me when he first wakes up, you know, not what makes you vomit what frighten? Oh Talking about you No, there's not there's not a lot anymore that does I'm more surprised than scared Seeing creatures versus human form definitely still does What about the time we were at a residential and I had an internal conversation going on And you ever stand here next to me to standing about 20 feet away from me And hearing the conversation and knowing that I was about to die in that moment.
I remember that Tim was very angry Yes, and the voices were telling me that I needed to pretty much end caden and I'm just like wait a second This is not what I do. I'm like no, this this is gonna happen I remember like because I always close my eyes when we do the blessings and I remember him standing right next to my eyes When I opened up my eyes. He was in the kitchen. He was in the other room like Okay, he looked at me like you're right there I could feel everything changing and then I look over and facial features are changing.
I'm like, yeah No, this is getting very bad very quickly You know, it's interesting to say that because I don't usually get scared on these investigations right like that either But when somebody gets attacked and I see those same changes you're talking about That's when I get the maybe butterflies. I don't get scared, but you get that get that adrenaline bump Yeah, that's probably the best description of the adrenaline up here it comes. Yep, but the fights are coming all right. Let's go time I'll tell you what the what does still what does still scare me is there are times when I will channel and know that I'm channeling And then there's times that I am missing five-minute blocks of time.
So what is channeling for those who don't know what channeling is what does that mean? I've seen caden channel before it's fun. That's not a lot of audio that one too actually That's one of those where I don't have that five-minute memory block. I actually had an incident and I'll share it real quick with caden channeling We were at a home.
Is it in Spanish work Utah? I was in there with caden and brandy b I think peaches was there too. Yeah, it was all four of us By the way, if you want to feel like if you don't feel kind of special going to investigation on three mediums Because they have these conversations you just kind of sit there half of it and you'd feel like you're like they're not terribly bright kid Story in my life, you know anyway long story short we get up the kind of the top floor I mean it was kind of a loft yeah and caden start channeling I don't know if you remember this at all caden if this is one of those three last time or not I knew that I was gonna go into it But I was this was one where I was misled where I was believed that I was gonna go in and channel energy and help start in the cleansing Interestingly now caden started channel the type three spirit that was there and we had a full-on conversation with the type three spirit for Three or four minutes. Uh, I mean it was challenging us basically saying I don't know why you guys do this because we're single somewhere else and Hrass somebody else.
I mean it was a full-on conversation with the type three spirit So channeling for those who don't know is basically they're speaking through you right? Yeah, so they're Okay steps aside and yeah I've also witnessed this again I have it actually on the audio here on my iPad But I still find it fascinating it was like because I've talked about before where I kind of one of the things I can do is I can tell when like one of the other gifted people are experiencing something negative or something they should be experiencing Literally like 30 seconds before I come walking into the room caden just goes a lot's weird Like everything shut off. I can't censor feel anything and then you hear me walking the room on the audio Hey, Kaden, are you all right? And then I guess it just went dark from there and then you know conversations going on people are going home people are leaving Someone makes some sort of comment and I go no Know what they want is they want Kaden myself in the building alone They want everybody else to leave and over in the corner.
There's Kaden Yeah, I do and this weird creepy as voice I've never heard before and I look over and I go well That's not gonna happen and you need to jump out of Kaden right now And as soon as I said that he's like hi, what happened? Like he just came right back as soon as I pulled it to jump out of him And the last thing I remember is saying everything just went lights out And that's another what three four minutes. Yeah, I was about five minutes Gone and most people never experienced that in their life, but it's creepy It's I mean, you know, I had my incident and I knocked in pryfield the same way It was clearly not Kaden talking Not his mannerisms, not his speech patterns, not even really his voice It was I mean, I was clearly talking to not Kaden Well, and I've tried to like we when I first listened back to that audio We tried to compare like I tried to hit the tone that's on that recording and I can't do it Like that's just out of my tonage completely And I remember one that we stopped that was about to be a nasty channel Uh cleaves cabin. Oh, yes, I remember that that that dark really quick And you know even even alica was sitting back in the corner going I don't know what's about to happen, but I'm not okay with this Yeah, that was uh we lose some of our investigators after like one or two investigations that are residential So they see some of the stuff that we do with them.
They're like, I'm done I'm gonna say a little to real. See y'all later. Don't want to bring that home to my kids No, um and for the record, I don't think anybody ever has brought home because we're pretty careful about what we're doing how we do it Um, but yeah, I was gonna say we have lost investigators over the past because I see some of these things and they're like little too real Little too real. I'm supposed to be in the movies All right, we're running kind of long.
What I got a couple good ones here that uh that um I want to cover real quick Um, so amber asked this question. She said so I always wonder about how do they the medium and the spirit acknowledge each other Like is the spirit like surprised? Uh, you know that knowing you can see each other you like nod and smile and like a weak or Like a high five of all Knuckles It's actually fairly simple. It's just like a family reunion You know, it's just like seeing somebody that you've known for your whole life Um a lot of times like for example one of the one of the questions I get all the time is you know, how do you feel about them all?
I hate them all I had them all with a passion because not only are you there, but so are your three relatives and thousands of other people's relatives So for me the mall is way more packed than it should be all the time And they look at you and go oh that guys you can see me and yeah some of them some of them it's like oh hey look Hey, you you saw me and they start walking. I'm like, no, no, no You need to stay where you're at if you know if we need to talk tell them to find me And I have had that happen. I had I had a lady that we were walking through them all one day Going to get I remember what we were going to get some couple years ago and And the I told the guy if you want her to contact me then this is the information This is how to do it And about a week later I got this random facebook ad And a message from this lady that was like I don't know why but I needed to find you can we chat And a scheduled for a reading and I was like, oh you are the lady from the mall I'm like, I can't believe that guy actually did that I'm like I tell I tell people that all the time and it never happens And and it did we sat down and and chatted and you know helped him on his way But it's fun. All right, so Are there things that you just don't believe in spiritual things that you're just kind of like no You know I had like me in past lives.
I just I There's so many there's so many things. What do you have on your leave There's so many things that you just learn and find and see all the time Um, you know, I had a hard time really believing that That shamans had the power that they do until I had some experiences with a couple and Then you know, I've probably Oh, we're probably six or seven years ago now I had an experience that I still did this day Like doubt where I saw Another it's another demon, but I said he's the exact shape of golem In the kitchen window of my house All crops crouch down just like all of them does looking back at the window my precious and I'm like Couldn't have happened sure there are there are creatures out there that look just like that But I'm like it was just such a random like there's no there was no feeling in the house There was no like there was nothing to really make me feel like that was going to happen And it was there one minute and go the next What's interesting I think is uh A long fact question I think all of us are things that we've not believed in but with enough experience and running crossings You kind of have to make some uh mental adjustment and some changes. Well, for instance, tim Uh, right four years ago if I would have said hey tim, how do you feel about crystals? I believe the exact response was they work best when you throw them at the spirit in a way Right and some of this stuff like the medium stuff.
I thought there's a possibility about like, yeah, whatever and same thing You know crystals a lot of that's just like I've seen enough stuff that it's hard to Discounted any more. Yeah, right, you know, and so I've always kind of kept a Healthy open mind on stuff just because I've seen so many things that I was really firm on that I've been like Okay, I've seen enough that I can't I can't dismiss it right So did you ever had a spirit tell you things like about the future like I know you're not psychic So you don't write but your respite's telling you about things that are coming up that are supposed to happen to you and you're just like I don't know Gary. Do I yes, I do your wife is pregnant I have gotten that actually so that's the one thing where that's the one line that's kind of hazy where I've known I've known before Whoever it is in the family has known that they were pregnant and generally if it's a so like if it's gonna affect You as the as the medium or as the reader you're not gonna get the information But I've known every single time including my own kids And I've known I've been able to tell them what they were going to be the minute I found out So does that as a spirit that tells you that yeah, so it's that way in that case It's um anybody that knows me and my buddy David is with me all the time And so he's he's kind of the one that's always like hey, hey, just so you know I don't know little heads up It's like new football games. I don't want to know don't do this work.
Don't do this work. I'm recording it Yeah, I've had a lot of personal experiences. I'm not gonna get into him here on the podcast But can you give me information that has panned out down the road? Um, so yes, he can see future events doesn't extend And it's not so much that I'm seeing them happen It's more my guide or your guide is giving me the information to help you kind of prepare for whatever is coming Okay, how are we on time?
I think we have time for uh two more than we should probably be Okay, so what is the strangest place or the weirdest place that a spirit has randomly just decided to come talk to you? In the middle of an interview in a bishop's office Yep, and uh, it was it was kind of funny because we were talking about He wanted me to come in and talk to him about why I would not come back to church And he was like, you know, the best time to do it is gonna be sunday afternoon I've you know, I've got four hours of nothing So just come in and talk if you know if you stay 15 minutes, he's 15 minutes And we got talking a little bit into you know into seeing people and and at that point I was just shut off because I'm like I'm not gonna have I don't want to have that in depth conversation in a church with a bishop I'm not gonna get judged for it. I don't want to know and He started asking too many questions and his his grandma showed up behind him And I kind of chuckled and he was like you're doing it, aren't you? And I was like doing I don't know what you're talking about doing what and he's like you're seeing things And I was like and so I told him grandma says hi, right?
I was like so your grandmother's behind you and he goes well that could be anybody and I said uh-huh Except for this is her name and she you know, it's right here This is your father's mom I gave him just a little bit too much information to where he was like, okay We're we're not having this conversation And if you're gonna do that kind of thing then maybe it's best that you don't come and join us until you don't And I haven't been back since that's not right. Yeah Have not been back since there's room for everyone Um, like I said, we'll just give it one last question and I think a lot of people had this one Um, a lot of people probably ask you about this one. Have you ever assisted law enforcement in solving a crime? You know using that ability to communicate with spirits.
Yes, I have I actually worked with the detective on the Kipland Davis case And uh, you know, with law enforcement, they can't really confirm information with you on those cases The you know, you can give them all the information that you've gotten and they'll thank you and tell you have it I have a good day But I gave him a lot of specific information and the last guy that they arrested brian Was one of those names that I gave him and I told him he was one of the initial interviews And for whatever reason he gave them misinformation. So I've got a little bit more information on that specific case Um I had a conversation with the county attorney. He's since retired years ago Yeah, um And they actually had told me that they had consulted with some mediums on the Kipland Davis case And told me that a lot of the information they had a lot of locations that were given to them Actually kind of panned out and showed some evidence Uh that some things had happened there. They believe the body had been moved from the location They've been given but yes, there was enough evidence there that they believe that the body had been there Uh and the information they've been given was correct.
They were actually were kind of shocked Uh some of the information they've been given how correct it panned out to be which is kind of an Accountant point because we didn't discuss this right before the podcast. Um, so I think what her ends down to know Okay, Mrs. Uh, where she's in pallette. She's in a mine Um, I've actually I was actually part of a group medium discussion on that case and she's in a mine up in eureka So we don't know which one specifically there's you know, probably a dozen up there that are abandoned But in one of those ones That's a good spot and for tonight.
I think it was all the way you have time to do like a reading We do have time for that. Is he from the northern I don't know his accent is so much deeper It's actually if I I could pull up at the cut i'm pretty sure it's from southern south of glasco Same area where i'm very so much thicker than marries though, which I mean Every accent is a little bit different, but I mean his is super super thick Um, super hard to understand a little bit So i'm like, okay slow down and I think we've been long enough We'll save the stone in the uh the weird paranormal news for our next episode Um, here's what I think because a lot of that stuff was really personal, uh, so I may cut down the reading All right, so this week's stone, uh There's another stone that I don't personally have but I have helped terry and mike pick out stones of their own Uh, this one is called how light Uh, it's color it can be green it can be white it can be blue or as often artificially colored Uh, parents is marble stone. It's often tumbles and it comes in all sources sizes Uh, it's where it is actually very easily obtained that sources comes from the united states So the attributes of how light is it is an extremely calming stone Are you want to place this on your pillow?
