Ask An Expert: Lee County Election Amendments Explained

from The HartBeat Show Podcast · host Tim Hart

Statewide and local elections for Florida are coming up on November 1. Many people are confused by the different Amendments on the ballot. I thought I could do my part by bringing some clarity to the issue by interviewing the Lee County Supervisor of Elections, Tommy Doyle. He was kind enough to go over each Amendment and we tried to both make sense of them. We mention in the interview that Lee County is not in charge of how the Amendments are written or what goes on the ballot. These Amendments came from the Legislature, Citizen Initiatives and the special Florida Constitution Revision Board. Please remember that Tommy’s position is a nonpartisan position and he was not able to give his opinion on the issues. I am not non-partisan but did toe the line to make this more about the information. Make sure you check this Podcast out if you need more info on the Amendments and feel free to share this with that person on your timeline who can’t figure it out.  There are a ton of them, including me!  Here are some helpful links as well.  Lee County Elections: https://lee.electionsfl.org/ Voters’ Guide To Amendments: https://bit.ly/2pNT5x9 Thanks for Listening !  I do Mortgages for a living, if I can ever help you buy or refinance a home let me know! · Apply for a mortgage now at https://timhart.floify.com/apply-now · TEXT “APPLY” to 239-437-4278 · Call me or text me 239-910-5668 · Talk to my team were here to help! 239-437-4278 · Check out my website www.TimHartJr.com Connect with me on Social Media YouTube - http://bit.ly/2Ourk8c Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/timhart453/?hl=en Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TimHartJr LinkedIn -  https://www.linkedin.com/in/timhartjr/
