 In this episode Steven and I talked about the Kennet and Avon Canal, especially about the locks near Devizes.  Here are the sentences again: Der Kennet-und-Avon-Kanal ist ein Narrowboat-Kanal in Südengland. The Kennet and Avon Canal is a narrowboat canal in southern England. Es ist ein 140 km langer Kanal,  der die Flüsse Avon und Kennet verbindet  und eine Schifffahrtsverbindung von Bristol nach London bietet. It’s a 140 km (87 miles) long canal, that connects the rivers Avon and Kennet, and provides a shipping link from Bristol to London. Der Kanal hat 104 Schleusen. The canal has 104 locks. 29 Schleusen sind in der Nähe von Devizes. 29 locks are near Devizes. Davon sind 16 ganz dicht zusammen. Of those 16 are very close together.  Diese Schleusentreppe heißt die ‚Caen Hill Locks‘. This flight of locks is called the ‘Caen Hill Locks’.
