Damals wurde der französische Kaiser Napoleon aus Deutschland vertrieben.  At that time the French Emperor Napoleon was expelled from Germany. Rund 600.000 Soldaten aus vielen Ländern Europas kämpften gegeneinander. About 600,000 soldiers from many European countries fought against each other. Leipzig Plantation in Devizes ist nach dieser Völkerschlacht benannt. Leipzig Plantation in Devizes is named after this Battle of Nations.
