In this episode we learned a few things about Hamburg. As always Steven got to read some German sentences about it and tried to translate them into English. Hamburg is a city-state and a state of the Federal Republic of Germany. Hamburg ist mit ca. 1,8 Millionen Einwohnern die zweitgrößte Stadt Deutschlands. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany with approx. 1.8 million inhabitants. 2016 waren im Hamburger Hunderegister 73.394 Tiere eingetragen. In 2016 73,394 animals were registered in the Hamburg dog register. In Hamburg gibt es viele Flüsschen, Kanäle und fast 2500 Brücken. In Hamburg there are many little rivers, canals and almost 2500 bridges. Es wird deshalb auch „Venedig des Nordens“ genannt. That’s why it is also called "Venice of the North".
