Der Muttertag wird in Deutschland am zweiten Sonntag im Mai gefeiert. Der Muttertag ist ein besonderer Tag, um der eigenen Mutter für all ihre Liebe und Unterstützung zu danken. Kinder in Deutschland kaufen oder basteln kleine Geschenke, und schreiben oder sagen Gedichte auf. Oft machen sie Frühstück oder kochen das Mittagessen. Viele Erwachsene schenken ihren Müttern zum Muttertag Blumen oder kleine Geschenke.
