Ask Annie: What Should I Charge For My Pilot Program?

from Rebel Therapist

I recently got this question from a participant: What should I charge the very first time I offer my program beyond private practice? Um, actually I get this question pretty much EVERY week. It's one of the most common questions I hear and it's one of my favorites to dig into. I'm talking about pricing an offer beyond your therapy sessions...something like a workshop, coaching program, retreat or course. The simple answer is, you should price it somewhere between $0 and 60K. (Seriously, I have helped actual brilliant humans choose both of those prices recently, and each decision made sense for their particular situation. No joke.) So that right there tells you that pricing your program is an individual process. In this week's episode, I dive into how you can decide where on that spectrum you'll price your signature offer the first time you sell it. Here's some of what I shared in the episode: Three examples of folks with different kinds of pilot offers and the prices they landed on. Two of the most common mistakes I see people making when they price their pilot programs. Ten factors that contribute to how much you'll charge for your pilot offer. Each of these exists on a spectrum, where the left side of the spectrum would point to a lower price, and the right side of the spectrum would point to a higher price. Why one of my clients recently charged zero for their pilot and another charged around 60K. Why you're probably in a great position to charge premium prices. Why you and I should probably talk about the price you're considering. Show notes at http://rebeltherapist.me/podcast/172
