Ask, Plan, Act_ Strategy for Success!

Memory Verse: ‭‭"Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you" - Matthew 7:7 AMPC Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭1 Samuel 30:8-10 KJV 8. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed. But David pursued, he and four hundred men... INSPIRATION: In the last three days we've stressed the importance of asking the right questions and the results that follow. Today, we want to emphasize that beyond asking questions, me must act decisively on our findings. The answers you get from asking questions may only pose as roadmaps or signposts to further action. Until you walk the path it leads, you may not realise what should unfold ahead of you. David did not just enquire, he took the necessary and corresponding action to pursue. Sometimes, an enquiry may offer a lead in form of a door, but what unveils therefrom might be mindblowing. Your answer may not always give all the details but faith moves you to action nonetheless. This is crucial because when God gives you a vision, you're only a very minute part of that vision. As you act, the bigger picture becomes clearer. Truly, it is in our action that our miracle is activated and delivered most times. David didn't just ask, he got himself a team, a strategy and execution plan. For where and what you seek answers for, where is your corresponding team and execution blueprint? Sometimes, success is as important as the quality of people on your team. But a quality team without a definitive and well-coordinated strategy will not produce any result. At worst, it may be all grammar and big talks without any actionable plan. Many ventures have failed, not for lack of planning but in action; others have failed for having actionable parties but no plan on ground to execute. Balance is the operational word. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Action is futile without a plan. A plan not put to actionable steps would not work itself. The dilemma is to know when to ask, how to plan and when to act. Decide! PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to move from asking to planning and acting. Guide me to choose the right team where required and the strategy to implement. May I not remain stuck on the routine of enquiry without developing an actionable plan. Above all, grant me executional excellence and unassailable results, in Jesus name, Amen.
