Asking for a Friend : Is abortion murder?

What causes so much tension with this question is that those who are pro-choice do not think abortion is murder and those who are pro-life absolutely do. So the question itself poses controversial responses due to its position by those who ask. Maybe the better question that will force clarity is this, "when does life begin?"
