ASRM Today: National Adoption Awareness Month with Rita Soronen

In honor of National Adoption Awareness Month, we are excited to welcome Rita Soronen, President and CEO of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The foundation's mission is to increase adoptions of children from North America's foster care systems. In this episode, Rita discusses the foundation's programs, including raising awareness about foster care adoption and dispelling myths and misperceptions surrounding it. She also highlights the Wendy's Wonderful Kids program, which aggressively moves children from foster care into adoptive homes. Additionally, Rita talks about the Adoption-Friendly Workplace program, which encourages employers to provide benefits to families that are formed through adoption.
