from KELY 1230AM/98.5 FM News and Commentary · host Wyatt Cox
It's a fact that building schools is expensive. But if we don't replace our old 100 year old schools -- the old original high school, now the middle school and David E. Norman elementary school -- it's a fact that White Pine County will die. Proposed Assembly Bill 224 is out there that will help and make it so that we don't have to bear the entire burden of the schools. Some county commissioners are so hell-bent on not spending a single penny that they're willing to cut off their nose to spite their face. Yes, we need to live within our means, but without schools, the county will die just like Lane City. and Commissioner Dirt and Commissioner Sheep need to get their priorities right.
