Associate With The Lowly

We hear Jesus confront the pharisee's pride (our pride) which is revealed by who and how they (we) relate to others Defining the lowly Those who have nothing to return Those who make us uncomfortable Those we view as "those people" Defining associate By Word ~ Associate = Carried away with, walk with them through life By Action ~ receives = Welcoming, excited, longing  Parable of the lost sheet, coin, son Jesus explains why the lost are valuable One Conclusion - Avoid being the older brother Application  Who are "those people" here?  Clarion, lost, pagans, people who view life vastly different. In your life? What could we do? 1. Deny self - not about me - It is His will 2. Seek to serve = love another 3. Associate = build relationships
