Colton Ernst picks up 1 John 5 as we continue our 1-2-3 series. Our foundational concept for this series is a reminder; that walking with Jesus means letting Him lead. And one of the ways that He leads us in is in loving other believers. See, the way we love other believers should be our strongest witness to the world. The apostle John's letter here is a reminder that we are to love one another; it was one of the main two commandments that Jesus said was most important. John also was us to rest assured that Jesus' sacrifice allows us to be sure of our salvation. Knowing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior, John also encourages us to keep away from idols. Jesus is the true and only way to the Father, and everything else fades away.
