Asthma Educator tips - Recommending a spacer as the method of choice for inhaler use

We are still in the month of May which is Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month. I spread asthma awareness and education all year around, but I  encourage those that are in healthcare and public health field around this time to empower those in need to gain asthma control by  coaching them towards progress. On this episode we talk about coaching  asthma patients towards using a spacer with their inhaler and the benefits that come with using this device.  Listen out for the tip on the advice to give to patients that misplace their spacer, hint it involves their clothes .
