Astrological Magick: The Picatrix

Send us comments, suggestions and ideas here! In this week’s episode we conclude our series on Zodiacal Magick and finally discuss the secrets contained within one of the most important books of magick ever written, “The Picatrix.” While its English translation is only a few years old, the contents of The Picatrix has served as the definitive source for information about zodiacal magick and creating talismans for over a thousand years. Join us as we discuss the origins of Picatrix, who its author was, the philosophy contained therein, a spell to transform its user into animals and even turn invisible with nothing but a set of unethical, illegally sourced ingredients and a long list of complicated instructions. In the extended show we discuss how lunar mansions work, unethical spells for bewitching a love slave, dubious cures for depression, the correct way to invoke the Planet Saturn, getting as drunk as you want without dying and making semen monsters from pig discharge. Thank you and enjoy the show.
