Astrology for the Soul December 18, 2024

It's time for a serious, sober review, Of where I've been and what I've done, Some concentration and contemplation, To prepare for what is to come.  ☉ There's never a dull moment these days with the technology we have created. It, therefore, becomes more important for us to consciously unplug and make space for stillness, contemplation, and rejuvenation. Otherwise, we can blunder along with the demands of the moment until we find ourselves carried away on the river of life completely out of control and lost as to our purpose. Hence, the cosmos and mother nature have come to the rescue with a nice, slow-down aspect, Jupiter squaring Saturn while the Capricorn Sun squares the Moon's nodes. There is great wisdom in the stars, and while you can look to where these are aspecting your natal chart, you can also gain some footing just knowing that the energy of the times (for everyone) are pointing to "downtime."  Rather than seeing it as a bummer and getting dragged down, bored, or depressed that things aren't moving as fast as you would like, it's pretty purposeful if viewed from a higher perspective. When you watch a replay or a movie in slow motion, you notice so much more than watching it at regular speed!
