The Moon waxing through Aries, Taurus, and Gemini to become full next Tuesday is helping fuel the fires of self-determination conjunct Chiron, the north node, and Eris today and tomorrow. Today’s report was pretty feisty, and a few thoughts emerged on my hike home in the rain. The full Moon Sabian symbol of the car getting smashed by the train came to mind. It spoke of recklessness. This is one of the big clubs used to keep the population down. “Don’t be reckless now!” we may hear over and over. The constant repetition of our need for safety and security on the web, in the streets, and in our relationships can be overdone. What is reckless to one person is sport to another. On the other hand, there is the danger of being reckless, extreme and overreacting, which can cause trauma to both ourselves and others. Let’s be clear that this is a direct result/reflection of how long and how deep we have suppressed our natural instincts. If you’ve been holding yourself back and feeling terribly ashamed or guilty for years, you may just explode (like the Palestinians).
