Nagy fejlesztések és fokozott érdeklődés övezi ismét az atomenergiát szerte a világon. Az adatközpontok óriási energiaigénye és a karbonsemleges zsinóráram szükségessége felpörgette a reaktorok gyártását, köztük a kisebb teljesítményű, moduláris reaktorok fejlesztését is.
