At His Feet – February 6, 2011

Mary of Bethany offers us several beautiful examples of a life spent at the feet of Christ. Whether approaching Him as a student, to learn of Him, to grow in wisdom and in knowledge, or drawing near in our brokenness in order to lean into Him and draw strength from Him, we see through her life that He is accessible, approachable and is moved by hearts that turn to Him. And knowing this, we find that the perfect and appropriate response to that kind of love, is to lavish our best upon Him.
