At Home with the Lord

Mortal bodies feel every storm because they are temporary tents, vulnerable to suffering and death. God promises His people an eternal dwelling where death gives way to resurrected life, and He gives His Spirit as the guarantee of what is coming. This hope does not make earthly life irrelevant. Because Jesus secures the heavenly home rather than human performance, believers can face Christ’s judgement by faith and make pleasing Him their aim each day.
