At The Mountains of Madness (Chapter 1): This story was featured on the cover of Astounding Stories Magazine in 1936 and was offered as a 3 issue series in the horror- sci-fi genre. In the story, Miskatonic's Dr. Dyer, a geologist, recounts the previously untold saga of what really happened to his expedition with hopes of preventing a second disaster before the University decides to embark in their footsteps.
