At The Seattle Ronald McDonald House: Intent, Biology, and Love.

from "Reality is learning, and We are watching!" · host Marcelo Mezquia, TheVoidIntent LLC

Sitting in my new office in the communal dinning-room at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House, I see the daily life of the many families who have to live close enough to the hospital because of the urgent state of their children’s health. One of these children is my nephew Rodrigo. He is good, though! He has overcome the physical aspects of the illness but his mind hasn’t caught up yet. There are so many kids! All ages and races and economic situations. All fighting the same and a very different fight. I feel powerless. I can’t even help my nephew understand he has bitten the entropy monster. Yet, most days you don’t even feel like you are in a hospital. kids are running around, playing, families gather to cook, eat, chat, then they vanish and i am alone with my computer, working. Until the time comes to get Rodrigo to his bed for Chemo. That’s when it hits me, when I see him in the wheelchair, cap on to hide his head where huge , black, copious hair used to be. He is weak, can’t eat, he throws up. He is great though. Bit the entropy monster in one week. But his mind is not there yet. This episode is designed to help him get his mind where his body is. I forced him to listen. He did. Did it help? We’ll see. Please, Like, Comment, Share, Subscribe.
