At Times This World Can Really Suck

Yes!  You are in.  Just you and me today.  I know.  They'll be back.  Casey is blessed with work and a deadline.  The other dudes are investing time with their wives and kids.  That is how we roll.  As we reflect and many have given thanks, there are some of you...actually...a lot of you that are struggling out there.  How do I know that?  Well, half of our country is medicated..at least.  We have an epidemic in our youth with a wave of depression and anxiety like I've never seen before.  BTW, that was all before Covid.Prior to Covid, I've seen countless dudes and youth come in absolutely broken and hopeless.  Note, I've already brought up the Vid three times in about as many sentences and I am doing that to make a point.  Life was hard for so many prior to the latest pandemic.  Once we get vaccines and/or immunity, we will press forward.  Yet, do we really think everything will be perfect from that point on?  Some of us naively do.  Not us.  The wise know better.At this point you are thinking, well thank you Dougie Downer, I'm so glad I chose this uplifting message amidst my darkness.  Thanks a-hole.  Stick with me.  Not done quite yet...
