At What Point Should You Make Your Side Hustle Your Full Time Career?

A lot of people I talk to say they want to quit their job and pursue they current side hustle full time instead. Many point to being inspired by various podcasts or interviews they heard with someone successful sharing their story and "going for it." The problem is we over romanticize those instances and what doesn't get talked about enough is the safety net and calculated low-risk, high-reward aspect. I'm not saying don't have confidence in yourself and that you shouldn't aspire to reach the heights you want by living in fear. But you also must be patient and accept that you might be exactly where you're meant to be currently. But if you do feel ready to take the next steps, here's questions to ask yourself: 1) Does your side income come close to what you earn? 2) Do you have 6 months of emergency funding? 3) Can u make your side hustle your regular job? 4) Are you disciplined enough to be your own boss? 5) Are you ready to work 12+ hours a day? These are the questions I explore in this episode to help guide you to see if you're truly ready to quit your job and go for it.
