It all began with Billi’s childhood trip to San Francisco, where the billboards of vibrant artistry stretched across the cityscape. As a young teen, Billi stood mesmerized beneath their glow—a moment of epiphany under the Californian sun and smog—this was where Billi’s future lay, in crafting designs that didn’t just exist but spoke, transforming ordinary spaces into realms of experiential imagination.

Growing up with entrepreneurial parents who pivoted to emergency response after Hurricane Katrina, Billi inherited a legacy of resilience and innovation. Billi’s family roots in Southern Louisiana, coupled with firsthand experiences of rebuilding and providing emergency aid, instilled in them a profound understanding of impact and purpose. By the time Billi started driving, they knew they wanted more than a career; they wanted a calling—something that would blend personal passion with meaningful change, something they could build alongside a partner, mirroring their parents’ unique partnership.

At Voss Alan & 202Ware, where Billi is a Co-Founder, their designs are more than visual—they are experiences crafted through the lens of someone who navigated the world partially unseen until middle school. Billi’s early years, blurred without proper glasses, taught them the power of color, pattern, and light over clarity. Today, these elements are foundational to their human-centered design approach, ensuring their creations are accessible and impactful, reaching out to touch everyone, even those who view the world through different eyes.

These experiences have crystallized Billi’s commitment to cultivating a workspace not just for achieving but for thriving, ensuring that those who journey with them find a balance that fuels both their inner and outer worlds.
