Atlantic Rim: Resurrection

from The Good, The Bad, and The Sequel · host Doug and Jamie

This week we are discussing the B-movie sci-fi action flick, "Atlantic Rim: Resurrection." This movie has doesn't have familiar faces, but they are giving it there all in every scene plus it's shot beautifully with some impressive special effect. This one had us discussing the lack of robots, FBI picking out clothes, the longest boat ride, flirting during chaos, and more. Fun movie to discuss. Watch the unedited review at sequelsonly.com/AtlanticRim2 The next sequel we are talking about is The Hills Have Eyes Part II (free on Tubi) and for it I chatted with one of the survivors of that film Kevin Spirtas. Horror fans know Kevin as Nick from Friday the 13th Part VII, soap fans know him from Days of Our Lives, and most recently he is known for his hit digital series "After Forever" which he won multiple Emmy's for. Kevin talked about how he went from working at Six Flags in Missouri to Broadway and then a few years later on the silver screen in Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes Part II. Great chat about his career, his personal life, theater, his best friend Denice Duff (next interview guest) who he hit it off with working on Subspecies II/III, and lots more.
