ATOOC: Near Incursion in San Diego

In this episode, we listen in on a potentially dangerous and life-threatening situation in San Diego. Japan Air flight 65 is instructed to hold its position, but enters the runway without permission. At this point, you will hear a panicked call from the controller. An incoming Delta flight is asked to go around to avoid the Japan air aircraft. After re-directing the pilot out of harm's way, the Japan air pilot is then instructed by controllers to contact the tower to discuss the near disaster.
