May 2002 saw the release of the second chapter in the Skywalker saga, and Episode II : Attack of the Clones instantly rocketed to the bottom of a lot of fans’ lists of their favourite five Star Wars movies. Its detractors are often quick to point at the bad dialogue, wooden acting and poor cgi, so why would Generation Skywalker dedicate a whole month to exploring a film most people are lukewarm about at best? Because we we are convinced there’s more too it – things we’ve maybe missed and elements that certainly deserve closer examination with the hindsight of 20 years.
