from Everyday Ultra · host Joe Corcione

Justin True is a hybrid-athlete who loves action sports, adventure sports and extreme sports, which are all activities that usually involve a high degree of risk. And his next challenge is no different: The True Triathlon in May 2022. The True Triathlon will consist of over 60 miles of swimming, 3000 miles of biking, and 600 miles of running, gearing up to be the largest triathlon in US history. But the most amazing part? He’s doing it all to raise awareness and funds for Mental Health. Dealing with his own mental health struggles and issues growing up, Justin aims to use the True Triathlon as a platform to not only help a great cause, but to build a rallying community that is also supporting the cause. In this episode, Justin and I discuss how he’s approaching training leading up to the True Triathlon, his game plan for building a massive community through this event, and how he is going to keep his mindset strong through all 3660 miles of the triathlon.
