I felt called by Him to make the move but something is still hindering me from making the leap. Q2 What your thoughts are on attending a gay marriage as a Christian? I have family and friends in same-sex relationships and want to be able to answer the question with love but hold true to what I believe. Q3 I have a Reverend family member who uses crystals and meditation to get closer to God. How do I combat that in conversation? My child looks up to them and I don't want them to be influenced. I pray for them and love them deeply. Q4 What do you think of things like earthing or grounding yourself to release negative charges in the body? Are holistic medicines and treatments like acupuncture unbiblical? Q5 I have changed my life to align it with Christ to the best of my human ability. But for whatever reason, I get this overwhelming thought of is this all real? Is there really a heaven? Or were these guys just saying crazy stuff 2k years ago and people were buying it. This thought has me sick to my stomach. It makes me wonder if I'm saved. Do you have any advice? Is it ok if a Christian has doubts? Is Faith just wishful thinking? Q6 I want to try and read through the whole Bible this year. Do you have any tips on reading the bible in a year that could help me stay on track and motivated? And what version of the Bible would be best for a new Bible reader? Q7 Should Christians read the Apocrypha? Are they different than the writings of modern-day theologians? Can they be useful for historical information or in helping us understand certain theological points? Q8 How do I know God's purpose for me? I try to pray every day, and I do daily Bible studies. Still, I don't know my answer. Q9 How would you approach Christ-professed people in the church who abuse God's grace and continuously stay in a life of drinking alcohol to get drunk and drugs and sexual immorality? When you try to hold them accountable, they tell you God's mercy is greater and it's okay to mess up, He's a loving Father. Could you please explain how someone truly repents? Q10 I attend a non-denominational Christian church. But I'm curious to know if someone came up to you and asked what kind of church that is, what would be your go-to reply on how to explain what non-denominational means? ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Tim Hatch Live: 🎙 The Deep End diving deeper into Faith, Politics, the Bible, and the world.
