Attraction Pt 1

This is the first episode in a 5-Part Series. Chemistry Gen 39:1-7 Vs 7 “And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.” It’s interesting the things that happen to us when God begins to elevate us. Sometimes the people that didn’t notice us before now begin to notice us. Someone said success has many friends. “It came to pass after these things” After his accomplishments and increase. It’s important to note that she wasn’t casting her eyes on him when he was brought in to Potiphar’s house by the Ishmaelites probably looking skinny and unkempt. This happened after he had worked there for a while. There are actions...she cast her eyes on him. Then there are words...she spoke. Vs 8. But he refused. He exercised his will to do the right thing. He didn’t call her by her name. Joseph’s response and recognition of her position, office and who she was. He created boundaries within his workplace. Vs 10. She spoke to him day by day. She was stubborn. She was persistent. She was insistent. Sometimes when these things are going on around you, understand what it is and that they’re trying to break your resolve.
