Klingt im ersten Schritt sehr einfach kann aber sehr schnell sehr komplex werden und einen Serverfarm beschäftigen. Und: Durch DSGVO, Privacy, iOS-Update und ähnliche Maßnahmen für den Datenschutz der Nutzer, wird es heute und auch in Zukunft nicht einfacher an diese Daten zu gelangen und diese auszuwerten. Zeit über neue Attributionsmodelle und ihre Weiterentwicklung nachzudenken. Ein Lösungsansatz ist die stärkere Verschränkung von Analysten und Marketern um die Setups zu optimieren. Im Gespräch gehen die drei erstmal alle Basics zum Thema Attribution durch: Welche Daten stehen einem überhaupt zur Verfügung und welche Modelle versprechen den größtmöglichen Gewinn? Sollte man externe Software einkaufen um Daten für die Attribution zu sammeln und auszuwerten oder auf eigene Entwicklungen setzen? Ab welchem Marketing-Budget macht die Investition in ein Tool Sinn? Und wie bereits angeschnitten: Im Zeitalter der Data Privacy wird auch Attribution erheblich erschwert. Thuy Ngan und Ole haben Tipps für euch parat, wie ihr mit Hilfe von Incrementality Testing eure Attribution auch mit weniger Daten optimieren könnt und welche Alternativen es sonst noch gibt. Dabei geht es auch um die Frage, ob man sich mehr blind auf Google, Facebook und Co stützen muss oder ob es nicht ein spannender Ansatz ist, die Daten aus dem eigenen Datawarehouse bei den Plattformen einzuspeisen um so Bestandkunden Social zu targetieren bzw. auf Basis dessen Look a Like Audiences zu bilden.
