Hi Smooches! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who bid on our guest spot item in the Romance for Reproductive Justice Auction organized by Meet Cute Bookshop. The auction raised $46,350.50 for the National Network of Abortion Funds’ Collective Power Fund. We are so grateful to have been able to be a part of this, and can’t wait to chat with the winner. Today is the release date for It Takes A Villa, by Kilby Blades, which means you can go to your nearest bookstore and pick it up before we recap it next Tuesday. If you’re a fan of the movie Under the Tuscan Sun, you’ll like this one. It’s about Natalie, an American actuary who fulfills the goal her grandmother didn’t live to see of buying an Italian villa to renovate as part of a local initiative. The project and the fine print of the contract end up being more than she could have ever budgeted for.
