from Audio Antiques · host Classic radio shows from the K-Rob Collection
It was one of the most tragic days in U.S. history. On November 22nd, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was gunned down by a sniper's bullets while campaigning in Dallas, Texas. He was fatally struck in the head while waving to thousands of admirers as he was riding in a presidential motorcade with first lady Jacqueline. Arrested for the crime was Lee Harvey Oswald, a former US Marine. Two days later Oswald was shot and killed. Ever since, polls have consistently showed that the public believes the assassination was part of a conspiracy. Government investigators disagreed, but sealed countless documents. Adding to the mystery, at least 10 witnesses mysteriously died within 3 years of the assassinations. We will hear now the event first unfolded on the radio, with coverage from the Dallas-Fort Worth Area Broadcasters, ABC Radio, Mutual Radio, NBC Radio, and WBAP-AM. More at KRobCollection.com
