The Chief Minister has denied all allegations of “perception of corruption” made in the Principal Auditor’s report, particularly those concerning the Wildlife Gibraltar Ltd contract and references to the wife of Environment Minister John Cortes. Fabian Picardo described the report as “egregiously wrong and factually unfair,” accusing the former Auditor of poor practice. We unpacked his speech from this morning’s Parliament session.The Netball World Youth Cup now moves into the next phase as Gibraltar prepared to  face Fiji. A song synonymous with the Cup has of course been Simon Dumas' 'Mighty as a Rock'. The Nashville based local singer gave Radio Gibraltar's Breakfast Show an exclusive listen of his new single 'Pretending I'm A Cowboy' earlier today.Next week, the community will once again come together for the Cancer Research Walk For Life. Last year, over 450 people took part and raised an incredible £3,500 for life-saving research. This year’s event takes place on Saturday the 4th of October at Casemates. We spoke to Annette Goodman from Cancer Research Gibraltar.And the Gibraltar Cadet Force is recruiting new members. You need to be between twelve and eighteen years old and the idea is to have fun, learn new skills and meet other youngsters with similar interests. We invited Officer Commanding Gibraltar Cadets, Major Juri Williamson and Company Quartermaster Sergeant involved in recuit training, Jean Paul Latin to the studio. Hosted on Acast.
