We often give lip service to the phrase “God is always with you.” There are many times when it does not feel like God is close. If God was close, wouldn’t it feel/look/seem not as hopeless? Today we come alongside two disciples, one named Cleopas, as they walk with sad hearts soon after the crucifixion. For them, hope had died. Come and discover how this was the farthest thing from the truth for them, and how we have hope as a promise from Jesus.
