We are coming closer to the season and we are on week two of our defensive previews, bringing us to the linebackers. Jaylan Ford, preseason All-Big 12 defensive player of the year, leads the relatively unproven group that will need to mature fast in order to contribute. David Gbenda and Morice Blackwell have reps but have not reached the heights Texas needs, while elite freshman Anthony Hill has a clear path to development while finding ways to contribute.
