AUGUST 11: Severe Weather Moves In, Adaptive Sports, and Lifecare Alliance Fan Distribution

(2:10-11:54) Severe weather continues in central Ohio Rounds of storms overnight and early in the morning forced evacuations in portions of Perry County. Meteorologist Lily Aldrich joins Bryn and Collin to talk about the next round of weather moving in. (12:09-21:24) Nationwide Children's Hospital Adaptive Sports Medicine Day Kaitlyn Bondy and Dr. Jonathan Napolitano join the conversation to talk about Adaptive Sports Medicine Day coming up Friday. They talk abou the importance of giving kids of all abilities the chance to play different sports and encourage them that they can play too.  (21:39-25:20) Lifecare Alliance Fan Distribution Lifecare Alliance has been hosting fan drives all summer long to help central Ohioans beat the heat. There is another fan distribution Thursday, August 13 at 670 Harmon Avenue from 2-3 p.m. Since the Beat the Heat campaign began, more than 22,000 fans have been distributed.  Enjoy the show?
